Alton Towers have recently submitted planning permission for a tribute dedicated to the Corkscrew ride which left the park in 2008, to be placed at the main entrance. The tribute will involve using the actual corkscrews from the ride, and having them placed in-between the Monorail Station and the Park's entrance.
