After much speculation, more information about the secretive project at Merlin Park Gardaland has been revealed. The new roller coaster will be a B&M, and will be a prototype coaster. But you already knew that.. The cars are to be very similar to Intamin's wing rider, such as Furious Baco at Port Aventura. The ride, to be named either X-Raptor or Raptor, will feature 2 zero-G rolls, be 30m in height and be 800m in length. There will also be many close contacts with theming, probably aiding by the design of the ride. The ride appears to be very interesting and exciting, and a similar concept could be coming to Thorpe Park in 2011, so stay tuned for more developments.
