Yesterday,  Lightwater Valley revealed to fan site Valley Mania their two new attractions for 2010. The first of these being a major overhaul, to the park's oldest roller coaster, The Rat. Estimated to have a price tag of around £500,000, the overhaul will include a new theme, set to that of Raptors, whom of which live deep underground and visitors must venture into the darkness through abandoned mine shafts. It is unknown at this time whether the current 1987 Schwarzkopf Wild Cat will be replaced with a new ride. The second attraction for the park for 2010 will be a Top Buzz 2, a Mondial Top Scan, rented from showman Alex Crow. This attraction has certainly got fans talking and it has been tagged as having the possibility of being the UK's best flat ride.
