Valley Mania have confirmed there will be no new Rollercoaster at the Yorkshire park for 2011, it is thought that park officials were left underwhelmed by riding a version of their preferred choice, on a fact finding visit to Fort Fun in Germany. Speculation is mounting that several rides have been acquired from the recently closed Loundoun Castle (the owner of which Lightwater Valley have dealt with several times), and could form the basis for the park's first fully themed area.  The new rides will be housed on the site of the former go-karts, where the new rollercoaster was speculated to have been located.
