November Theme Park Updates
Just a quick round-up of confirmed and speculated attractions for the 2011 season in the more Northerly UK parks... DRAYTON MANOR - the park have confirmed that a new junior rollercoaster and ride for the Thomas Land area for the park is due; the rollercoaster is thought to be a Vekoma mini Boomerang. LIGHTWATER VALLEY - the park has released a series of pictures of bulldozers clearing areas of the park for 'significant changes' thought to include a rollercoaster for the former Go Kart site. A large area behind the eagles claw ride, and an area in front of Raptor Attack have also been cleared. There is speculation that a number of rides from the now defunct Loundoun Castle may be migrating over the border. ALTON TOWERS - A Shrek themed 4D cinema and area (on the site of the current storybook land) appears to have been confirmed by 4D cinema specialists Simworx. There is also speculation that 'duel' may be due a facelift in time for the new Season. More details to follow...
