Toverland announce Scorpio

After much speculation, Toverland have finally announced their new ride for 2010, Scorpio, a swinging ship from German manufacturer Metallbau Emmeln, who specialise in small rides and have already supplied the unusual Twist and Turn in the Magic Forrest area of the Park. Scorpio is the latest addition to Toverland, who have added attractions every year since they opened in 2001. It will be one of the largest and fastest in Europe, which is sure to give riders butterflies, not to mention the airtime, sitting on the ends. The installation of Scorpio represents a € 2,500,000 investment and it will be located in the Troy area of the Park.Scorpio will be located between the Troy station and Boosterbike.

  With 2011 being the 10th anniversary of the Park, further development of the Troy area is anticipated, with the installation of a major new ride, rumoured to be a coaster, which will be located to the rear, between Troy and Booster Bike. Ride Guide will be in Toverland in July for the opening of Scorpio.
