About this deal

The X56 feels a bit more rugged, as two throttles and you can change the spring for the joystick or remove it for helicopters so I prefer it over the X52. I smacked straight into the station infrastructure as soon as the docking clamps were removed and it took me some time to realise that it wasn't a rotational correction issue but an unwanted lateral thrust kicking in (the very reason I ditched the T16000 with its noisy pots). I donwloaded the Software as recommended by Logitech and this seemd to do nothing other than reboot my PC.

And for power users, a downloadable Software Development Kit allows you to create your own interactions for the multi-function LCD display. When I get home I'll start (after sleep) by completely uninstalling the drivers I've got and unplugging the device.

Some people (mostly those that play fast paced space sims) don’t like that much dampening but it’s great for flying planes.

If you're in the market for a good joystick, go ahead and spend the extra money if you have it and get the X-52 Pro. I need a hyper-precise throttle quadrant to especially fly the CRJ700 which has no auto-thrust, and therefore N1 must be able to be set to the number. Overall, I wanted to give Saitek another chance after my old stick years ago, but now I wish I had gone with CH products. Reddit and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to provide you with a better experience. The logitech rebrand has better components than T16000 plastic crappy pots for yaw, they are no better than the console hotas builds versions. The absolute smoothness of the joystick and the buttery soft movement of the thruster changed the way I play flight simulators. has given up the ghost, the thrust lever is only wobbling around like crazy (or better the signals this controller gives to the computer make the thrust go up and down the whole time) but what´s even worse: The pedals (when rotating the stick to the left or right) are also wobbling around like crazy, even when the joystick is fully centered - and this makes especially smaller planes almost unflyable, and ends many starts or landings in a bad way. Fortunately, there are plug-ins available created by gamers that allow this product to be used with my platform and give it a pretty good amount of its designed functionality. Enhanced LCD display, with adjustable backlighting, gives you information about your button configurations at-a-glance, plus a new ability to view and interact with in-game radio stack information with the most popular flight simulator titles, like FSX, X-Plane, Prepar3D.

If the yaw was braking on the T16000 thats not going to be an issue with the logitech rebrand as they don't use those rubbish pots. The only problem with this stick is that, a couple of the buttons are losing the paint already, but it doesn't effect how it works.
