About this deal

Early on in our testing, we eliminated one chemical sunscreen lotion, Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen Weightless Face SPF 30, because of its bottle. Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen’s Sensitive Mineral Spray Sunscreen is sun protection that’s gentle on skin and easy to apply. Walmart’s Equate Sport Broad Spectrum Sunscreen Value Size SPF 50 earned top marks in our brand-concealed panel testing, which was surprising considering it is the least expensive sunscreen we’ve ever tested at just 39¢ an ounce. For sensitive skin, dermatologists, allergists and pediatricians recommend using mineral sunscreens with Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide. This mineral sunscreen is the only one I found that doesn't leave white streaks and make me look like a complete ghost.

The mineral-based formula with Zinc Oxide is gentle and doesn't irritate my children's skin, and it doesn't leave behind that greasy or sticky feeling that many other sunscreens do. Watch our bottles and tube caps turn blue in sunlight as a reminder to play sun safe wherever you go! Additionally, products that may contain ingredients that have shown to feed Malassezia may not neccessarily exacerbate the condition due to concentration of ingredient used in the product, this information is simply not available on the products. The body of the botthe (which is white) is supposed to turn blue under harmful UV rays, to remind you to wear your sunscreen. An SPF 15 lotion that you apply liberally and often can protect you better than an SPF 50+ lotion that you put on only once in eight hours. I was expecting great things from La Roche Posay’s Anthelios Ultra Light Facial Sunscreen SPF 60, and for the most part, the brand delivered. However one type of alcohols, simple alcohols can be quite drying to the skin because it evaporates very quickly.

We recommend that you read labels, warnings and directions of all products before use and not rely solely on the information provided by iHerb. Look out for the tick on the EU-Allergen free label to know your cosmetic is free from any of the 26 identified cosmetic ingredients. So just because something might be problematic for person "A" that doesn't mean person "B" will have the same experience.

The problem with the thick, white texture is that there is a great temptation to use just enough product (just a dab, in fact) to rub into your skin, hoping the colour settles after a while.
