About this deal

In this book, Frankie is very open (pardon the pun) and honest about her experiences with her mental health struggles in a way she’s never done so publicly before. We're always happy to answer any questions or queries you might have, please get in touch using one of the methods below. Our Non-Fiction Range includes: Academic, Photography, Audio books, Business, Cook Books, Craft Books, Health and Fitness Books, Mind, Body, Spirit (Tarot). Ausführliche Informationen zu Ihren Rechten gemäß den Fernabsatzbestimmungen erhalten Sie im Vereinigten Königreich bei Ihrem örtlichen Citizens' Advice Bureau oder dem Trading Standards Office Ihrer örtlichen Behörde. My depression was worse during my pregnancy because I found coming from someone who really restricted my eating and really controlled my food and my weight.

The audiobook will combine Frankie's mental health journey into motherhood with the notes of her psychologist, Maleha Khan, who will unpack the problems she experienced as she became a mother.I was really emotional, I wanted to cry all the time and having to put on that brave face like everything is OK. You would never have thought the smiles on her face weren’t real or a front that deep down she was really struggling. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item.

I would highly recommend reading this book as we all need to be more aware of the impact that mental health can have, as it still seen as a taboo matter. The helplessness of it all, the feeling alone and like no one would understand or you just must be crazy (I've felt crazy too many times and I know that's not a PC term but its a personal term I've used for myself). Other than that it's a well-written and agonizing account of Frankie Bridges' transition from illness to acceptance. Talking about mental health will normalise the illness and in turn people needing help will (I hope) feel empowered to get the help they rightly deserve without the fear of feeling judged. Please Note: By their very nature, all signed books will have been handled several times before they get to you. some interesting topics discussed that leave you with things to think about, however I felt some bits were repetitive and the writing was a bit basic.
