About this deal

Treasury Wine Estates has launched what it claims is the UK’s first coffee-blended wine under its 19 Crimes brand. The Good Housekeeping Institute’s panel of 10 WSET-accredited experts and consumers sampled 23 boxed white, red and rosé wines from around the world. They were on the lookout for wines that were a good representation of their grape variety. Each was assessed on its complexity, flavour and finish. For that reason, they're the perfect solution to the mid-week glass conundrum, when you don’t want to commit to finishing the whole bottle (which in contrast will only last between three to five days). Its bottle is– in keeping with the brand’s theme of criminals who were exiled to Australia in the 19th century –adorned with a picture of a convict, called Thomas Delany. Shoppers were “constantly looking for new and exciting products within the category and we’ve seen that under-35s are intrigued by wine fusion products”, added Treasury EMEA head of marketing Ben Blake.

They're also an obvious choice for parties, allowing guests to happily top themselves up without worrying about corkscrews and broken glass. Whether hosting a BBQ or Christmas party, you can’t go wrong. How many bottles are in a box of wine? By blurring the categories and crossing into new territories, we’re confident this new proposition will ignite consumers’ interest to further discover the category”. When investing in a box, consider how many bottles you’re getting for the price. It can often be more cost effective to buy larger formats. Here's an easy guide:
